Panasonic Lumix Camera Review

Panasonic's Sdr-H40 is a marvel in technology. This modern, lightweight, popular ,favorite camcorder comes with a built in 40gig hard drive, a Sd memory card slot, 42x visual zoom and once you have it associated to your computer via Usb2 by pressing a single button you can change your masterpieces to dvd.

The H40 is adequate to give you the best results everytime. It's cutting edge visual image stabiliser achieves upto 8 times higher precision than other systems Panasonic produce. By the use of gyro-sensors to detect hand-shake, the lens is moved up/down or left/right and bends the incoming light to adjust its visual axis to make the correction. This is activated 500 to 4,000 times per second.

Now this is clever. The camera has an 3D anti jolt sensor. It can detect when it is falling, at a distance of 20cm the reading or writing head is removed from the disc so to protect it. For extra security the four corners of the hard drive are covered in a thick gel to upholstery against impact. But if that's not impressed you get this. Even when this sensor is activated and the head is away from the disc you can carry on shooting. An internal memory buffer kicks in and records the new data until the hard drive is back online it is then transferred back.

This clever limited baby holds as much as 28 Dvd's and can narrative upto 36 hours in long play mode which is more than ample for most users.

The 42X visual zoom can fill the 2.7inch Lcd screen with even the most distant of subjects. And because the zoom is visual rather than digital you don't lose any quality.

The camera can narrative in a 16:9 aspect ratio, which makes it ideal for viewing on the now favorite wide screen Tv's.

Recording to a Mpeg2 machine using a variable bit rate technology that was advanced by Panasonic for their high end cameras it can render fast complex motions authentically giving level flowing pictures everytime.
