I think so. If you are serious about Game racing the divergence in sense is huge. If you indeed have a racing seat the option should not even be a question. The feel of the Logitech G27 is way above the one of the Driving Force Gt. It's roughly like a toy vs the real thing. The wheel feels tight the gears just click and the pedals are indeed from another world.

Did you know that you can adjust the voyage of the pedals to your liking? This is an astonishing features for those that know how to do hill and toe properly. I loved the G27 it's the best mass produce steering wheel principles out there. Unless you want to spend a few thousand dollars this is the principles to get. Try it.
