Firewire and Usb allow you to associate any external devices to a computer. They are two separate technologies and when you want to associate a firewire gismo to the Usb port or vice versa there comes the need for an adapter that could make the law work. Both Usb and firewire are two separate technologies and hence their speed also varies. Firewire devices are more rapid than Usb because of the sort of connection it establishes. Data streaming is also diverse in both the cases and hence permissible connections and hardware should be installed.
