Panasonic's NeoPdp Technology Revamps Plasma Hdtv
You might have seen Panasonic's new NeoPdp plasma Tv technology advertised on Tv. According to Panasonic, it takes flat screen Tv to the next level.
But what does this really mean? What's in it for you? Not only does the new Panasonic NeoPdp technology deliver great unlikeness levels, but high definition Tvs that use it are brighter, display sharper pictures and give more than a nod to eco-friendliness.
The NeoPdp technology also enables Panasonic to compose its new Viera Hd Tv models that are barely an inch-thick. This will allow plasma to remain competing against the newest breeds of super-slim Lcd, Led and, ultimately, Oled televisions.
There are some benefits of NeoPdp technology compared to the original plasma panels on sale today.
A contemporary plasma display panel (Pdp) typically consists of gas-filled cells that are sandwiched in the middle of two glass sheets. When the Tv is turned on, this gas is electrically charged. The resulting plasma that is produced excites phosphors in the cells, which consequently emit light.
Panasonic's NeoPdp technology improves on the process. Thanks to a newly developed gas, NeoPdp Tvs are far brighter and boast an unbelievable dynamic unlikeness ratio of over 2,000,000:1. According to the engineers at Panasonic, NeoPdp delivers deeper black tones and significantly improved white balance. The end result? More vibrant and realistic pictures, whether you're watching a movie or regular Tv programming.
NeoPdp Tvs also feature a 600Hz Sub-field Drive with what Panasonic calls appealing Frame Creation Pro. In short, this clever technology optimises the flow of the appeal onscreen, reducing any judder when you watch fast-moving sporting events, movies or play video games.
Finally, NeoPdp can deliver twice the luminous efficiency of former models. And it can do this using far less power. The succeed is a greener Tv that's ideal for the eco-conscious contemporary home.

Component Video outputs are missing, but since most users will be using the Hdmi connection, this should not pose any problems. The Hdmi relationship will give you Full Hd 1080p/24 video resolution on both accepted and 3D Blu-Ray discs. It can also up-scale any accepted Dvds to near Hd resolution. The Dmp-Bdt110 is adequate with the new UniPhier Chip, which creates remarkable image quality. Callers can also leave a message. Since the Dmp-Bdt110 does not have any internal memory capable of supporting such recordings, a Sd Card or Usb memory device will be required. Another highlight that may help you in your 3D viewing is the 3D follow Controller. This highlight lets you convert the 3D depth settings. Overall, the Dmp-Bdt110 is a solid player with new and innovative 3D technology and immaculate image quality.

The Cons: Like most entry-level players, there is no internal memory for accessing Bd-Live functions. A Usb memory device of at least 1Gb will be required. The play does offer Wi-Fi options, but you will need to purchase a wireless Lan Adapter which is sold separately. Not a fan of the 2D to 3D conversion, this technology still has a long way to go to come to be an productive entertainment feature. The same maybe said for the 3D follow Controller. While it is fun to go in and convert the 3D settings, it is not something everyone will want to play around with.
